News, articles, and interesting stuff from the College of Business
"I'm most proud of the many friends and acquaintances I've made here at OSU over the years. I have built connections and learned from a diverse background of people, something that would have been difficult without my enrollment in the College of Business, and I'm proud of the personal growth that has come as a consequence of that."
College of Business: What do you value about your degree?
Jack Lundgren: My major is business administration with a focus in supply chain and logistics management. The most valuable thing I’ve learned regarding my academic major is the importance of effective communication and the ability to work well with others. So much of what we do today is done in teams and among groups, and often the most effective and successful teams are ones in which people have a mutual respect and understanding of each member’s own talents and capabilities.
COB: What are you looking forward to after graduation?
JL: I don’t have anything set in stone yet, but I am considering opportunities with my current employer and elsewhere. I am interested in working out of state, ideally somewhere I’ve never been. So my main focus after graduation will be looking for opportunities outside of my current experience.

My biggest challenge throughout has been maintaining a proper schedule and it has led to more than a few headaches throughout my enrollment. However as I near the end of my schooling I am proud to say that my time management has improved considerably since I first showed up here in 2019.
COB: Who has inspired you; whocan you elevate?JL: Scholarships have been a consistent help to me since I first began enrollment at OSU. I received a lot of financial aid assistance, but college is a lot more than just tuition. The NASPO award gave me the help I needed at a critical time during my life, and I will forever be grateful for their generosity.
